CARVEDILOL- 6.25MG TABLET MANUFACTURER AND PCD FRANCHISE 

Each tablet of CARKEN-6.25 contains 6.25mg of Carvedilol. It is an oral medication used for the treatment of hypertension, chronic stable angina pectoris (episodes of chest pain), and for the treatment of moderate to severe stable chronic heart failure. This drug blocks the action of certain natural substances on the heart and blood vessels that cause a rise in blood pressure and poses a strain on the heart. Thus, relaxing the heart and blood vessels.

Dosage:

This tablet is to be taken orally by mouth with food. It is to be taken twice a day. But the actual dosage might vary as directed by your doctor based on the patient’s medical condition and other physiological factors. Carvedilol can be combined with other antihypertensives especially thiazide diuretics for better treatment of hypertension. The recommended maximum single dosage of this tablet is 25mg whereas the maximum daily dosage is 50 mg.  

Precautions:

1. In certain cases, this tablet might cause bradycardia (i.e. heartbeats below 55 BPM), so you need to keep checking your blood pressure if this happens then you will have to reduce your dosage. 
2. For better results, take this medication regularly at equal intervals. 
3. Make sure that you tell your doctor about any allergy that you might have regarding the compositions of this tablet or any other allergy in general.
