This Drug is used in treating hypertension i.e. high blood pressure. These medicines work by relaxing the blood vessels to provide smooth passage to blood. This medicine has 2 compounds: Olmesartan (Angiotensin Receptor Blocker (ARB) works by relaxing blood vessels) and hydrochlorothiazide (diuretic ‘urine pill’ resulting in more urination to get rid of extra salt and water in the body).
Dosage: This drug is an oral tablet to be taken once a day with or without food. This is the usual pattern of dosage. But do consult the doctor for a specific dosage as it may vary depending on your medical conditions and severity of the problem.
